In this release, we’ve tried to make importing your log files as easy as possible by adding a full spread of methods by which Logaholic can access your website’s log files.

Of course, if you install Logaholic on the same machine as your website, you already have access to your log files provided your PHP is allowed to access the path your log files are stored in.

But now, we’ve added full featured FTP support and direct file upload capabilities to Logaholic to make it even easier for you to put your log files in a place where Logaholic can access and analyze them.

Previous versions supported single file ftp downloads, this version supports downloading multiple files with full download resume capabilities for efficient and hands-off analysis of log files that are pulled in from a different server (or the same server if you are not allowed to change your PHP settings).

We’ve also added file upload capabilities, which means that if you have your log files on your local disk, you can simply upload the files to logaholic with one click and analyze them.

All software download links on the site have been updated, so if you want a trial version, please visit the download page. Customers, please download from your order page by logging in here.

Our Logaholic Live systems will also be updated in the next few weeks. This means Logaholic Live customers will be able to take advantage of log file FTP and Upload capabilities, which will make Logaholic the first and only hosted web site statistics service that allows you to upload and analyze your own access log files, rather than just collect data via javascript tracking tags!
